Scholarships For Seniors
Notice: Test mode is enabled. While in test mode no live donations are processed.
For this year, we are limiting scholarships to current Key Club members at St. Augustine HS and Pedro Menendez HS students. We hope that next year we will be able to expand the number of scholarships to include other St. Augustine seniors.
Completed applications for 2022 are due by April 11th.
Each year the Kiwanis Club of St Augustine recognizes seniors at local high schools for their participation in the Key Club, the high school organization that represents the ideals of Kiwanis International. Below is information regarding the scholarship program.
Scholarship Awards
The Kiwanis Club of St. Augustine will award two or more $500 scholarships to current, active members in Key Club attending any of the following schools: St. Augustine High School, Pedro Menendez High School. Faculty sponsor must verify the applicant is in good standing with the Key Club.
The scholarships will be awarded to graduating seniors attending college (four or two year) or vocational school in the summer/fall of high school graduation. Each recipient must enroll as full-time, degree-seeking student at regionally accredited post-secondary institutions in the United States.
Scholarship Criteria
Scholarships are based on academic achievement, citizenship, and leadership without regard to financial need. Candidates must rank in the upper 30 percent of their class, demonstrate exemplary school citizenship, regarded as leaders in their school, a current member in Key Club, and participate in extracurricular activities.
